Through my doctoral coursework, I developed a deep understanding of how curriculum, theory, and research intersect to shape meaningful learning. In CI 702: Curriculum Theories, I crafted a personal curriculum philosophy informed by Dewey, Vygotsky, Piaget, Malaguzzi, and Bruner—recognizing curriculum as a living, co-constructed process that honors the voices and agency of learners. In CIEC 700: Technology and Curriculum, I extended this understanding by designing inquiry-based experiences that integrate technology and early computational thinking in developmentally appropriate ways. These experiences strengthened my ability to connect theory to practice, conduct rigorous research, and design innovative, child-centered learning environments that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
